A building must be insured is known commonly to everyone these days. In case the building catches fire or is flooded during rains or faulty plumbing or is harmed due to any of the many other things happening that harms its structure and its integrity, a builder insurance and contents insurance will help the owner by paying for its repairs and get it back in shape so that it is suitable for working in it again.
While insuring a building, one must also think about all the contents inside the building too. Sometimes the businesses are such that the cost of the contents inside the building are way to higher than the building itself. A commercial building or an building which has offices in it, may have a lot of computers, photocopy machines, furniture and many other things that also might be lost during a fire or a flood. Generally the warehouses have stocks of inventory which, if stolen, lost or damaged could mean immense loss of income to the company. So, it is always a good idea to insure the contents of the building also either with the builder insurance or you may also take up a separate insurance cover for them.
